Freedom Now is designed to aid in your well-being without you having to sacrifice your daily lifestyle: whether it be your job or time with your family. Our programs are unique and individualized to fit with your daily routine while also giving you the immediate help you need. Our team of medical and clinical professionals and our board-certified addiction psychiatrist will help you enroll into a plan that best suits your needs.

What is Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)?

Freedom Now’s active process of mental health and opioid use treatment is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). MAT is the use of a combination of medication and individualized counseling and behavioral therapies to aid those who struggle with mental disorders with underlying opioid use disorder (OUD) or any other type of substance abuse disorders (alcohol, benzodiazepine, and others).

The goal with MAT is to counteract physiological cravings, withdrawal symptoms while normalizing body functions and brain chemistry. It is a safe treatment to help those who have become addicted to opioids have a more controlled detox and allow them to focus on their treatment and recovery.

Getting Started – First Contact:

When you’re struggling with mental health issues and/or substance abuse, life doesn’t stop moving around you. It’s difficult many people to take time off of work and school, or leave their families for extended periods of time in order to go to treatment. At Freedom Now, we meet you where you’re at in life and allow for you to get the help you need while maintaining your hectic schedule.

When you first contact our clinic, you will discuss your needs or a family member’s needs with our medical and clinical professionals to help you choose the best plan to suit your or their lifestyle.  You will need to provide necessary information such as: issues you would like to resolve, age, transportation, work or school schedule, and valid identification.

During your first contact, you will be presented with the necessary information regarding the admission process, the time your treatment will begin, and all of the services our facility offers that will best help you in your journey toward healthy living.

All of the treatment and care that Freedom Now offers is based in medical and clinical training. Upon meeting our staff and our board-certified addiction psychiatrist, they will begin to work with you to determine what is the best plan regarding your recovery process.

Medical & clinical evaluations/assessments

Similarly to a walk-in clinic, our staff is trained to assess your health and needs in order to apply the appropriate plan for your recovery after evaluation.

Unique clinical program

Your rehabilitation is important to us. We understand that no one plan or treatment is universal, but requires specialized, individual training and treatment. We are committed to each person enrolled in our program.

Individual and group therapy sessions

For those struggling with mental health or opioid use disorder, we understand the importance of active care and community. Whether you begin with individual therapy or opt for group therapy, we understand the importance for you to not feel alone in your journey and recovery.

Social and life skills services

During and after your treatment, it can be difficult to reorient yourself and focus on training yourself toward sustained recovery and being active in your workplace, family, or society. We work towards training the whole person to be active in recovery and healthy living

Medication management

Our medical staff is trained and specializes in helping manage the medications of those who struggle with abuse. As a MAT focused treatment organization, it is pertinent to your recovery for you to receive the necessary information regarding the medications you’ll be prescribed and how they interact with your body.

Mental Health:

Freedom Now focuses on mental health disorder care while understanding that opioid use disorder (OUD) can follow suit under the guise of self-medication. Opioids are most commonly used to battle against deeper, internal issues at hand. Our staff is trained to access our patients regarding mental issues and, post evaluation, decide, with the patient, what is the best approach for therapy and rehabilitation.

Through our medical and clinical care, our staff can help assist you if you are suffering from:

OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorders)

Anxiety (Generalized Anxiety, Panic Disorders)

Bipolar Disorder

PTSD (and other mental disorders)

Our evaluation of each client is oriented toward their specific needs. Each client will receive individualized care and assistance from a committed staff who are also in recovery. You are not alone in your recovery journey and our staff can relate to your circumstances in life. We desire for you to have the proper support and be enrolled in the proper program for a lasting recovery.

Underlying Addiction Aid:

Substance Use Disorder (opiates, benzodiazepines, alcohol, and other substances)

Rehabilitation is primary at Freedom Now. While our clinical and medical facility targets opioid use specifically, we are prepared trained to assist you with any addiction issues you may be facing.

The FDA has approved three medications for the treatment of opioid dependence:

  • Buprenorphine
  • Methadone (Not prescribed at Freedom Now)
  • Naltrexone

As part of the Freedom Now MAT clinical program, we utilize Suboxone as a supportive medication to help treat patients suffering from opioid use disorders. Suboxone is a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone and blocks the effects of opioids and reduces cravings.
